I have a 2005 PW Excel and have removed the faucet way too many times! It's a piece of junk at best. It's a bear to remove also. You have to remove the shelving back panel and cabinet door to the left of the refrigerator, remove the upper outside vent to the back of the refrigerator, take off the sheetmetal air baffle behind it and then you'll see the bottom of the faucet. After removing about 3 square inches of silicone and unscrewing the bottom screw of the faucet, disconnect the two water lines and the faucet should pull up and out.
My goal is to remove it one last time so that I can trash it and replace it with a REAL faucet.
