This is one of the steel beams next to the TV opening. You can see the staining from the water leaks from that one spot that's always been a problem. The wood still feels solid so I'm hoping not much damage was done, but I can't see on the other side of that beam without pulling the ceiling off and I don't want to go there. So at least for the part of the seam that runs over the TV opening, if I wanted to I could drill all the way through and get long skinny bolts and bolt them down, but this part of the seam has never leaked anyway. So that's overkill.
