You can only have 1 regulator from the source (tanks) and the destination...ie, your grill.
It is just like the photo... One permanent mounted tank running to a regulator that serves the onboard gas users (furnace, waterheater, stove), but I want to connect a grill that has its own regulator (at the end of the hose). I could probably "Tee" downstream of the coach regulator, but then I would have to take the regulator off of the grill, which means that I would no longer be able to hook that grill to a 20lb cylinder if I wanted to use it away from the MH.
The idea is to give me a balance between simplicity and flexibility (leaning a little more to flexibility....)
