This option works well for me (I did a little more than in the picture), as I have the gas port on the side of the TT, so I have one hose that goes BBQ to TT with quick release on both ends and a 2nd that has quick release to old BBQ reg, to whatever hose or portable tank connection you want (in my case) I just have a extension cable for green throwaway tanks but it could just as easily be a hose for running off a spare 20# tank. All you have to do is snap in the hose you want and you are grilling steak in minutes.
