Well, you've pretty much heard it all, but just to clarify, the diesel will do better on fuel, given the same weight, but that's never the case and it does cost more per gallon, so... However, fuel isn't even a consideration with the overall cost of ownership and where depreciation per mile is the undisputed king and killer of your bank account, so buyer older is the key here.
Quality built DP's are superior in every way, except repair costs and they can be purchased for the same amount of money. Just not in the same model year. Also be careful and research any that you might decide on. With us and to fit our budget for a quality built coach, we chose to fall back in the years, rather than go with any later model gasser or entry level DP.
