No the fuel systems are not sealed that tight, they do have vent lines, they are better designed than the ones 30 years ago but they still do evaporate some.
Yes, evaporation occurs but modern vehicles are not allowed to vent it to the atmosphere. That's why a loose gas cap will through a check engine light these days!

But does a gas motorhome chassis have the same EPA system as a car ??, just wondering, my 08 Bounder does seem to loose some gas thru evaporation during our summer months, not sure how much but when I put her away in my back yard its always full but the gauge needle does move a little off full after a month sitting in our 110 degree heat.
