Gasser rides like lumber wagon

Our 04 gas MH rides like a lumber wagon on rough roads. Front and rear shocks are only a little over a year old. I understand diesel MH's ride smooth because of air suspension and was wondering if it is possibe to add air ride to gas MH's or what I might do for a smoother ride.

  • Without knowing any other info....have you weighed the coach and set the tire pressure appropriately. You don't necessarily need a four corner weight, just find out the front and rear axle weights. 10 PSI over recommended pressure will make them ride horribly.

A lot of people like to try and increase their fuel economy by running empty on the water tanks. Often, a full tank will help give a better ride, leaving the tank empty won't change your mileage.
