My very brief experience with Geico cured me from ever using them again. About 25 yrs ago I bought a very nice slightly used car and decided to go with Geico since my insurance rate quote with State Farm was really high (I was a long term insurer). Not sure why State Farm was so high (no tickets, no accidents), I was in my early 30's.
Geico was a lot cheaper and I had to get the car inspected by a Geico certified shop because Geico didn't have an office in my area. The shop inspected the car which was in perfect condition. I drove the car 8,500 miles in one year.
When it was time for the renewal, Geico wanted to raise my rates really high because I drove over 7,500 miles. What? Crazy!
I decided to go with TN Farmer's Ins. as their rate was excellent and have been with them ever since with excellent service.
I will never consider Geico again.
