Gen leaking fuel

As you can see, we are speculating because we don't know what generator you have. So far we have answers for both gasoline and diesel.

After checking all the hose connections I would start at the carburetor. First by checking the gasket around the fuel bowl and the gasket on the drain. next check the float to see if it has an open seam and getting fuel in it, preventing it from closing off the fuel supply.

I can not help you but every day i chat with a bunch of hams VA6RC (Bob) just fixed a fuel leak on his genny. or his mechanic did.

The float in the carb bowl could be stuck too.

Nope....it's a deisel.
