General Motors, Navistar Team Up on Medium-Duty Trucks

Wall Street Journal just reported this new partnership this morning. Whether you are loyal to a particular brand or not, this is good news for all consumers with another choice in the market place. Competition typically spurs better value in pricing.

    For Class Cs only?

The article doesn't specify except for the delivery business and construction. I will try to copy the 2 links for the stories
  • Automotive News also has an article from June 15, 2015 about the new deal between Isuzu and GM for the Cab forward trucks going up to the 5500 series which should be the 19,500 chassis. Not sure whether this truck would be a good Class C chassis or not. the towing and weight class would work though.
  • I heard this yesterday on the business news hour WBBM 780 here in the Chicago area. I agree with you, this will be good for the RV industry, hopefully sooner than later.

Just don't program the computer to increase fuel economy at the expense to emissions. :)
