Yeah, but the genset is supposed to be providing power to the converter or inverter/converter charger, just like shore power would. That's why I'm thinking that the big boy or other relay isn't closing on the battery banks and it would be less apparent and take a lot longer to deplete the batteries when connected to the shore.
You are correct. I was explaining WHY the Genset and chassis batteries went dead. The OP seemed to not understand this part of the problem. They understood HOW to get around the problem. Doug
