Generator exhaust question
Need your opinion, techies. I'm looking to route my generator exhaust to the roof only during football season (while tailgating). I don't see the need to invest in a Genturi. Could I use a larger diam...

I agree, just buy it and be done with it. The Gen-turi is a great product. We’ve used it for the last 9 football tailgating seasons with success. I’ve seen plenty of other contraptions such as the aluminum flexible dryer hose and a few half-melted PVC pipes. The ones with the aluminum downspouts seem to work, but are not as quiet and can get a little too hot for some curious kid.
The Gen-turi comes with all the adapters and hooks. It also installs/breaks down easily and comes with a handy bag.
Whatever you do get, as a potential neighbor, I thank you in advance for being considerate enough to re-route your exhaust. I’ve had to deal with too many morons who carelessly fill my coach with their carbon monoxide. I usually ask them to do something. If they won’t, then I make MY problem THEIR problem by constructing a wall and/or fan (on my site) to redirect their exhaust back at them. They get motivated to fix the problem after that;)
