Need your opinion, techies. I'm looking to route my generator exhaust to the roof only during football season (while tailgating). I don't see the need to invest in a Genturi. Could I use a larger diam...

I like your thinking bob. A fairly modest Class A is what, 100,000 so that Gen-Turi represents .1 percent of the cost of the RV. (1/1000th)
I have read posts by many who have home brewed and were quite happy with the result, however I have to tell you I really like my Genuine Article.. IT works very well, it is light weight, comes with a very nice carry bag, it is light weight, it is in 3 sections that make it easy to take apart and bag, It runs so cool I can pull it off with the generator running (just don't touch the metal parts) and by the time I walk around the house to the entry door I can bag it.
And it does the job it's meant to do.
