Need your opinion, techies. I'm looking to route my generator exhaust to the roof only during football season (while tailgating). I don't see the need to invest in a Genturi. Could I use a larger diam...

I am visualizing only a few feet between rigs, in all directions. I've seen pictures of the RV's at the race tracks, like Daytona and I don't imagine whether the GEN is sitting on the ground or a built in unit makes much difference. CO exhaust is all the same.
Am I just over thinking this issue?

I will not say it is not a concern. However I think with a fairly long heavy duty cord you have a lot of flexibility to position your genset in a safe location.
Depending on how chaotic the area is the farther away and safe the genset is, the more theft becomes an issue. You can't win!:S
Nevertheless I think you can go with a portable stay safe from fumes and return with everything you brought.:B
