I have to disagree with this advice. I would strongly urge everyone to never, ever make or use a deadman ("widowmaker") cord.
Presumably, the OP's house has a male connector mounted for attaching the generator, in which case no such cord is needed. One would presumably still have to make a cord to go from the RV generator to this connector, and (ideally) most likely have some sort of a female connector installed in the RV to get full generator power available. Likely the RV generator is not wired to produce 240V power, so there will be some limitations on what can be powered in the house. If the OP has a well pump, for example, those are usually 240V so they'd still be without water beyond what's in the pressure tank even with the RV generator connected up and running.
It would be most wise to consult with an electrician on this.
