Generator hours
How many hours of generator use would be a lot? Looking at used class A and I really haven't used one a lot, generally shore power.

2000 hours with good maintenance is nothing. A well maintained onan, Kohler, Honda, etc, etc will give 15/20,000 hours no problem under constant use. It is the start, stop, herky, jerky, infrequent use that is hard on them. Using a generator regularly keeps the moisture out of the windings lessening the chance of the windings going to ground due to dampness. A dry winding is a dependable winding.
