Time to change gen oil and filter.Wondering if you all use Onan products or substitute something? I have a Onan emerald plus 5000.Reccomended filter is 122-0645 or 122 0323.Appreciate your ideas.

I no longer use only Onan products in my 6.3kw Onan.
Many Onan p/n can be cross referenced at NAPA and other "parts stores" and purchased for less $$.

Napa rocks. You can even find the "old" fuel filters for the 5500 there for 4.00$. I'm just not sure about the leakage problem with them, was it just a bad production run as this filter has been around since the 60's.
