Rob, Tom's post has good advice. (hold start switch couple of extra seconds after you think it has started. These model Generacs sometimes take a couple of seconds of 12 volt field excitation to start building up voltage. These sets WILL continue to run if not making power, unlike MOST Onan models. Most likely causes of no power are dirty rotor brush to slip ring connections, bad voltage regulator, control board not exciting field at start-up, or open winding in rotor or stator. Hope you can find competent shop near where you live, as it can get really expensive if someone just starts throwing parts at it until fixed.
