Generator start from deepcycle batts OR dualpurpose batts?
Does your generator start from deep cycle house batteries OR dual purpose house batteries?

Id get dual purpose, deep cycle batteries don't provide high cranking amps needed to start a motor, they are good just for low current/amp consumption over a period of time. like running lights, and a TV etc. The dual purpose can do both starting and run 12v accessories, 120v through an inverter too.
