Generator start from deepcycle batts OR dualpurpose batts?

Why do you ask? APU's can use both types batteries to start. What is your definition of "dual purpose House batteries". Never heard that term before. The ONLY type I have encountered are
Deep cycle
Deep cycle maintenance free (NOT a good choice)
Maintenance free battery (not a deep cycle)and not correct for a RV house battery system. Doug
