My A/C puts about a 70 percent load on mine.
I contend that running it 30 minutes like that will get it (all the parts) about as hot as they can....or as hot as they need to be. And it stays hot LONG after you shut it off.
If you are in Minnesota and the outside temp is 0 degrees then a (much) longer run would be required.
But I am not arguing, necessarily, because I don't think you can go wrong following the instruction manual....and I usually do that.
