You have been extremely lucky. That is NOT good advice for most people. The need for fuel stabilizer existed BEFORE any alcohol was ever added to the gasoline supply. Adding ethanol just made it more necessary.
And.....some devices actually run worse with a higher octane fuel than it was designed for.
P.S. Add the "real" complimentary double quote marks to the list of symbols that RV.net isn't able to handle.
