Picked up a 1994 Georgie boy cruise master. What are recommendations for a replacement generator that will run the AC and fit in the current space?

Is the old gen (if still in motorhome) gas, LP, diesel? what brand and model?. Georgie boy used a lot of Kohler and some Generac, as well as Onan in the 90's.
