OK so I cleaned the carb out really good & put it all back together it runs good with no load then I just turned the a/c on fan & it ran great but when I turned it on cool & the compressor tried to kick in it bogs down again. I checked the gov spring & it idles up great so I don't think it's come undone. The cab was spotless unless another piece of debris got in it after running it a minute.
Still thinking about changing the fuel pump although it seems to be working good.
It is obvious you are a throw parts at the appliance type of repair person. Remember, there is FUEL in the carb fuel bowl. The Onan uses very little fuel. So, the amount of fuel in the fuel bowl keeps the Onan running under load. There is NOT that much more fuel used when you apply a load. You NEED to replace the Spark plugs and they are accessable.
