Getting Out-of-State Vehicle Smogged in California?

Hello! We live in California and we're purchasing a 2008 gas motorhome from a private party in Oregon. If I understand DMV's registration requirements correctly, we'll have to smog it in California ...

If it is stock and passes the emissions test, you should be fine.

If the previous owner installed any after market performance parts that are not CARB (California Air Resources Board) certified the coach will fail the visual inspection and not even make to the emissions portion until you replace those items with stock or CARB certified parts.
