I think of a situation where we are in the parking lot of a destination type of attraction, neither a boondocks situation nor an RV park, where the MH will be parked there maybe as much as10 or 12 hours, and where it would be poor form to be running the generator all that time just to power the refrigerator. Having to worry about whether the batteries are running down. Is just a nuisance to be avoided. We use the propane mode of our Jayco Melbourne A LOT. Mostly when driving cross country, or when in a parking lot somewhere.
