So often the negative House fridge comments are from people with TT's or Class C or just older MH's. They do not understand that modern Class A's are energy hogs. They are full of devices that draw DC power all the time. When you watch TV utilizing a sat dish and surround sound you are drawing Battery power( boondocking. Want to use the coffee maker or micro? Need more battery power. All of this means that even with a propane fridge you will be needing the genset. Even the propane fridge draws 12 volts.If you are used to a 1985 Bounder you will find that the world has changed! We can go 24 hours on our battery bank but prefer to run the genie maybe 2 hours a day when boondocking To the OP: You will not find anyone else switching back to a propane fridge. Ask yourself why?
