I want to move up from Class C to Class A but, from what I am reading, one would want to avoid a residential refrigerator like the plague. I love the Norcold in my Jayco Melbourne; it is a marvel of engineering. What is the practicality of junking one of these residential refrigerators and replacing it with a decent RV refrigerator?
After some 9 pages, I think your question has been answered and mainly for the practicality of junking an existing a OEM residential fridge and installing an RV type.
The answer mostly, is that it's not very practical or cost effective at all and I doubt seriously if you'll buy a new 2015 coach and actually do this conversion. Now, please correct me if I'm wrong and be sure to report back with the particulars, when this project is completed. Also, if you're going to do this yourself or hiring it out.
