Alright. You guys rock and I apologize for rehashing old posts but those old posts and the new posts were both helpful. The RT Adventurous may work. My 17 yo is 5'6" and the then the 9 year old so they could potentially crash on those passenger seats laid out. I like the idea of also placing a mat along an isle for sleep but, as was said, that takes care of 3 of us. I was just looking to see if there was enough floor space to lay out four people. In the perfect world, there would be some newer model B's like the Dodge Phoenix High Top. Sportsmobiles are tough to find and we don't really want to spend the massive money on brand new.
The tent ideas are there but aren't ideal in our trips. We are either in a place that gets to 32 degrees at night or in a place that is 80-90 degrees at night. Neither are great tent weather for the kids.
There's other reasons to get rid of the Class C. Maneuverability and the way we use our RV is much more suited to a B life. We tend to be a combo of hotel and RV parks. We almost never stay in one place for more than a night. We also weren't real happy with trying to maneuver the class C through Yellowstone (our destination of choice).
