gmc safari condo

I just bought a 2010 gmc safari condo and having problems raising the roof. It's manual not electric . Have followed instructions in owner's manual several times without any luck. Any helpful hints greatly appreciated. GMC safari condo manufacturers in Quebec closed until August.

    Make sure you have a door open when raising and lowering the roof.
