Going to buy TPMS

We have a TMPS(TST). We just got home from a trip to Alaska, travelled on freeways, secondary roads, and gravel,dirt and rock roads,on and off ferries, sea level to much higher elevations. Relied on TPMS and never touched tires until just now in shop. Was interested in seeing if system was as accurate as it was reading. Checked every tire with electronic gauge used when filling tires before leaving. Only variance was ambient temperature in shop, now 78F and 68F before starting trip. All tires read about a half a pound higher than before trip and all TST sensors read 2 pounds lower (same as before), impressed with both the TST and the tires

Look up Doran. The best out there. Don't settle for the cheap ones. Had 4 years now and works like brand new.

I recently purchased and installed the "Tire Minder" system on 10 wheels. It cost $369 when purchased via EBAY. That was over $100 cheaper than any similar system including those sold as Tire Minder.

All ten sensors worked accurately out of the box. It alerted appropriately when a tire was more than 15% low.

I have very little experience with only 350 miles of travel with the system, but am pleased.

I bought the tpms against my better judgement, but stand corrected now.

I also have the units from TST. I have the once I can replace the batteries. My fourth year. They are great people to work with.

I agree 100% and if your thinking of buying a TST system I would go directly to the source, and this way should you have an issue they have all the records. They are great to deal with and can answer questions either by phone or email. TST

I had the 510 system when it first came out and liked it a lot. Used it for two years with no problems. One of the sensors finally failed and TST upgraded me to the 507 system at no cost. I like the fact you can change the batteries out. The new sensors are a bit smaller than those on the 510. I run the ones on the toad with rubber stems and have not had any issues in three years. We full time so I have to replace the batteries about once a year. I believe it's one of the best systems out there and the customer support from TST has been fantastic.....Dennis

In general I believe that all brands get good reviews. Yes I know there are some who have had problems but for the most part they do a good job. Just get what makes you feel comfortable and enjoy having one less thing to worry about.

I purchased the Tire Minder system last year and have found it to work like a charm Questions and technical help from the company has been great I have six sensors on the motorhome a 40 ft DP I also purchased the booster Would highly reccomend this system by my experience.
