I've posted many times about the advantages of back-flushing the grey into the black. It always pulls more "stuff" out of the black tank, even when the black tank is 100% full. Back flush will always pull even more out. If you don't have a Flush King or the space to attach one, then lifting the hose is a GOOD alternative.
So why do so many have the idea that an accident will happen by lifting the hose? A good connection will not come off.
