We've been to Good Sam national rallies where the RV parking was several miles from the "show" grounds, and the shuttle busses were unreliable. One day, waits of 2hrs for a bus were not unusual. Might want to check where the rigs will park relative to the exhibit halls and meeting rooms. If they're a ways away, might want to reconsider bringing the toad, as you may be able to commute (even carpool) much more quickly. There will be plenty of food available at the rally grounds itself (but on the spendy side), but maybe not for breakfast or an evening meal.
Other than that, meet as many people as you can, wear comfortable shoes, don't spend anything your first trip through the exhibit halls (until you know who's got what), soak up as much info as you can, and have fun!
