Good Sam Swipe & Save Card

Will be going to NC Foot hills in a couple of weeks to pick up my MH, had some repairs done. I will be stopping at Flying J (Pilot) on the way back for fuel and beacon truck wash. What is the procedure for using the new card. Thanks Roy

ROYBUCK, rgatijnet1 is correct. The pump walks you through the process—believe it refers to the loyalty card which is your Good Sam Club membership card.

danorske, the savings are higher with the Pilot Flying J RV Plus Charge Card. You can see a chart here.

You will find the online FAQs about the Swipe & Save card helpful. The FAQs explain why the card is not accepted at dealer locations.

You can also find the state you’re visiting in the Pilot Flying J RV Travel Guide and see details on discounts offered at specific locations.

    Sincerely,
    Good Sam Club Team
  • Not to far off topic. I have the Good Sams Swipe & Save card and The Pilot RV Plus card. I wonder which one I should use for the best discount. Haven't had a chance to use either yet.

  • My experience has been some stations do not give you the discount. Happens about 20% of the time for me. But the process should be you use your credit card then the pump will ask you for a discount card. If your lucky you will see the price change and your good to go. Its a real pain when you go out of your way then there is no discount. pilot will tell you to call the number on your card to get it corrected. Good luck trying that while your standing at the pump.
  • Roy,
The pump basically prompts you through the whole procedure. It will tell you when to swipe your Good Sams card and when to swipe your credit card for payment. Keep an eye on the pump price and when your GS card is accepted, it will lower the fuel price.
