Hi All.
There are a lot of RV'ers who have bought some of the most expensive GPS Systems out there, and some made just for RV's.
We are still using an appromantely a 25 year old "TOM"TOM"ONE most of all of the so called newer Brands of GPS Systems put out sice then. And it is still working better than most of all of the Newer High Tech ones claim to be.
We have used a " A Family Motor Coach Association", "North American Road Atlas", and Travel Guide from a few years in-between copies. And have never ran into any problems myself.
We use our old 25+ year 31/2 inch, an old TOM-TOM-TOM-ONE, which still by the ways have never got us lost or down any wrong turns. We also, some times ago bought a 5 inch TOM-TOM-TOM- and an older "TOM"TOM"ONE", by the time we got it. We also use the "Next Exit".
We have only been RV'ers for a little over 46 years now, and not once have ever got lost or taken down the wrong road. Have never had a "Blow Out" or a "Flat Tire" either, or have ever "Broken Down". I do all of my own repairs on everything thing that we own.
We also have never met a bridge we couldn't fit under, Luck, NO WAY. We believe in good proper "Proventive Maintence Programs.
One in a while it nice to check our Map Quest or Google Earth. Our Motorhome will more than out last us and then some, unless something happens to it. Sorry, but a so called RV Tech will have a very long wait on waiting to fix any RV we own. Plus we are also big time BoonDockers. Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill & "Two Small Yorkie Pups" who love to travel as much time as we do
