My take on dissatisfaction with GSRA is that people expect things that are not in the contract.
My take on GSRA dissatisfaction was being left stranded on the side of the Interstate in WV in a blizzard while 3 different service providers haggled back & forth with them on why they should accept a deeply discounted rate to service my unit when their phone was ringing off the hook with potential customers willing to pay full bore for their services in cash.
After 4 cold hours with no heat we got towed an hour up the road, with the driveshaft still connected, only to find we were an hour too late (on the Friday of a holiday weekend) to rent a car also.
In the end it only cost me $5k for a weeks car rental, a new transmission and an extra 14 hours of driving to drive home and back a week later to pick up my coach.
Oh, BTW, the tow driver said, after the fact, that he towed my unit with the driveshaft in place because; a) he KNEW my trans was bad, b) he didn't have metric wrenches, since I had Ontario tags he KNEW the bolts were Metric, and, c) GS didn't pay enough for him to lay in slush for half an hour.
Is it a surprise that I did NOT renew my GSRS membership?
