I use the windshield suction cup, but I attach it to the side window where I can easily see it. And also on your theft concern, it's a valid concern, but you really think a GPS mount visible in a motorhome is going to make a difference to a thief? A car yes, but every decent thief out there knows that the vast majority of motorhomes are filled with all kinds of great stuff to steal. I doubt anybody looking to break into your motorhome is going to look around and see no GPS mount, and then move on to the next motorhome. They'll break in and take your TV's which are a whole lot easier to sell than a GPS.
