I use my Android phone in the car,, Though there is now a movement to make that impossible.
In the RV I use Microsoft Streets & Trips, one of several such programs, not the best but I was already trained on this one (And Rand McNally) from work, so I use it. Other competing prorams include Co-Pilot Live which is designed for drivers of LARGE vehicles (SEMI Trucks) and may be better suited to RVing need.
S&T does have one RV feature.. Woodall's Campground guide built in.
I got the 2013 version with Dongle (GPS) and love it, way better than older versions and lower cost too. sixty seven bucks, not counting laptop.
