Grand Teton National Park
Thinking about the above mid to late September. Looking for full hookups and maybe a weeks stay. We'll use the toad for sightseeing but need a base camp. Suggestions? We will be coming up from Alpine....

I'm a little surprised that we got an electric site at Gros Ventre CG today... $39 with the old farts pass. You are not jammed in like at private parks plus plenty of Cottonwood trees... not so many that you cannot get sat TV.
No smoke although a cold front late Friday could blow it this way. Lows in the 30's Sat and Sun.
Dennis. this is a no reservation big CG with a dump/water station at the entrance. We normally stay at a USFS CG near Moran ($6) but this time we are doing some things closer to Jackson. By mid Sept you will not need AC/electric so no need for a FHU CG.
