No, not solo. Yes, I have been in coaches with slides for hours at a time many, many times. They were friends RV's but no matter, I have been there and they offer me nothing special compared to my current non-slide coach. If you need room, either go outside or buy a house.
I am happy, the wife is happy and the 3 cats are happy! What else is there. If I needed more room anywhere it would be in bed. We have a full-sized Queen bed (not an RV Queen) and all 3 cats like to sleep with us. I would install a King but I also like having a night stand and there's just no room for both.
Everyone likes to judge others but I can tell you for sure that I don't miss having slides. If we ever do buy a new coach it will likely have slides by default but I, my wife and the cats will not be any happier than we are right now. I have been full-timing for 20 years this month and this is our 2nd RV without slides. Do you really care to argue whether I am happy or not?
