great river road
plan on leaving for gulf of mexico new orleans first stop from se wisconsin. Leaving 1/12/15. Best to taake the mapquest route vs heading over to mississippi and following the Great River road

Just follow the river! If it snows there will be some on a highway or back road! at least until central IL.
