great river road
plan on leaving for gulf of mexico new orleans first stop from se wisconsin. Leaving 1/12/15. Best to taake the mapquest route vs heading over to mississippi and following the Great River road

Lot's of nice scenery along the Great River Road, but slower going and no RV parks available until you get south. If you are staying in the south until spring, take the GRR back north instead.
