Great transmission pan upgrade - Older Ford E350

I have had issues with a transmission fluid leak on our 1983 Ford based Jamboree. A gasket replacement later, there is still a leak and I decided the problem has to be a bent pan.

I bought a B&M cast aluminum replacement pan. Not only are the cast ones prettier, they do hold more fluid and have a more firm edge so they seal better. I ordered it from Amazon and it came with the extended filter pickup unit. I can report that it sealed up nicely and the old girl is very happy now. I highly recommend the pan upgrade.

  • I installed a B&M deep pan with fins on the bottom for better cooling and deep filter on our 1994 460 E40D transmission. I also had a temperature gauge and a Banks trans command unit. This work was done over ten years and no problems, My son uses the coach now.
