We tent camped there a couple of times several years ago. Very nice man owned/ran the place. Not sure if he is still there. Nice enough place...not huge. There is river access (tent sites along the river) if you want to get wet. The have a great canoe livery service (or at least they did) that will take you to whatever point you want on the Greenbrier River, drop you off and pick you back up where ever you want.
Have you considered Bolar Mountain on Lake Moomaw just over the border in VA? It is near Covington, VA. Haven't stayed there lately, but my husband said it passed his daughter "clean test" years ago.
Good luck. Beautiful area. As a matter of fact we are fishing a tournament at Moomaw this Sunday. I will keep my eye out for other campgrounds.
