I often wonder is dumping Grey Water permitted in campsites, if so where. I have never done it but I am curios
3 groups of men were ask what kind of underware they wore, Boxers or Briefs..
As I recall the younger men said Briefs
The middle age said "Boxers"
and the seniors.... "Depends"
And that happens to be the answer
There are 3 classes of waste water, not two as most think
Black: MUST be put in a proper "Hole in the ground" (Sewer or septic system). nation wide.. in fact in some places if you use selected black tank chemicals you may not dump PERIOD... (Formaldehyde containing formulas).
The next is GRAY,,, Some places it is legal to dump on the ground, and some campgrounds have gray water dump sites scattered about as well.... This is waste water that may contain food particles but does NOT contain human waste.
WASH water.. Basically gray water without the food (Shower, Washing machine, Bathroom sinks).
Even more places allow this to be dumped on the ground..
Now: if the CG has gray water dumps, they are labeled as such, So you are good to dump there... (In the dump pit) they are usually designed for bucket dumping as opposed to hose dumping.
Otherwise you'd have to ask,, and there is a danger in asking in that if you do they may assume you intend to do it and say "No vacancy"
