Guide me on what needs to happen to upgrade TVs

I have a 1997 RV which still has in it two old tube TVs and the bat wing antennae. I have turned the big TV on but just gotten snow.I suspect they are not digital. I'm thinking I want to replace...

Some bad info here. Your bat wing ant will work fair but it will work a lot better if you get the add on part or the whole replacement head shown above.
People keep posting that your old ant will work but they just don't understand how antenna's function.
An upgrade will work better because unlike the old bat-wing, the new part is tuned for UHF reception - which is what HD is Broadcast over.
