Hi Vach,
Our first MH was a Chevy based 23ft Jayco. Handling was ok..not great.
Wanted to upgrade to a more streamlined MH so went looking for another chevy but could not find one with the floor plan we wanted. We finally drove a 2006 Winnebago Aspect both the 23D (E350 chassis) and the 26A (E450 chassis). To our dismay both drove very nice...no wandering or other issues. We finally decided on the on the 26A because of the greater carrying capacity. We have not needed any expensive updates or suspension changes. Both of the Aspects had the air bags on the rear axle...don't know if that made any difference.
So, look for the floor plan you like and drive different units till you find one that is comfortable. We did pay attention to the wheel base to over all length as one criteria for our purchase. In my opinion...short wheelbase and long length makes for unsafe unit and it gets more unsafe as you add stuff. Make sure to check the available carrying capacity to be sure you have enough. Some units were almost overloaded before you added passengers and camping equipment.
Best of luck in your quest for a fun and safe MH.
