For some insane reason new class C do not come with a spare tire.
I noticed that when I was shopping for MH's . I found the Sunseeker on an E450 had a spare under the rear in the area of the hitch.
My class C has the Hankooks , at 12,000 miles, no problems / good wear.
Just to try something else, when it comes time to swap them for new tires I was thinking of trying the new Goodyear Adventure Kevlar E rated tires. They are a more aggressive A/T tread but many people have said they are very quiet, ride smooth and wear well. I think they also carry the 'winter snowflake seal'. - PatJExplorer III've had no issues with the Hankook in the initial 5000 miles on my 2019 class C. The tires that came with my camper were made in South Korea but were extremely fresh, manufactured within a couple weeks of the chassis.
For some insane reason new class C do not come with a spare tire. I purchased a new spare wheel from Ford and purchased the exact same model/size Hankook for a spare. The spare I purchased looked identical to the others but was made in USA. - riverboaterbillExplorerThanks Guys! That helps!
- ernie1ExplorerHankook tires are put on Ford chassied vans a lot of which become rvs. These tires on Ford vans are sized for Ford vans only and can be hard to find unless there is a Ford dealer around. Some tire shops carry them but not a lot. Many complaints are made about them failing and blowing up.
The real problem occurs when you have a tire failure and need a replacement especially under warranty. Ford dealers DO NOT want to deal with it especially with one tire on an rv. And Hankook Tire does not even want to talk to you at all and will give you a run around like Ford. Why do I say this? Been there done that and never ever again! - memtbExplorerMost Hankook tires are manufactured in South Korea, a few models are made in China. We’re running Hankook 19.5” tires on our truck and the Dynapros’ on our 4 Runner! Pretty happy! memtb
- mleekampExplorerWe also have them on our 2019 Jayco Class C with the Ford E-450 chassis. I guess I expected Michelin or something, not the chinese brand. We've put only about 3,000 miles on them this year and no issues. I hope they last a decent amount of time/miles.
- midnightsadieExplorer III put hankook on my crv 68k miles ago not problem. not the same but I,m buying a new set again.
