Happy owner
This is a post for those of you considering a used Class C.
Ours had 9700 miles on it when we bought it from a neighbor in July 2002. We've traveled the west coast, and for the last 10 years have been traveling to the Pittsburgh, PA area for the summers. It now has 87,000 miles on it.
We have some traditions for family get togethers: Easter dinner and Mothers Day at Mission Bay, and the San Diego Bay Parade of Lights (boats) each Christmas (KFC and hot chocolate).
Last weekend, after sitting since October, it started right up again.
The coach battery only lasted a couple of hours, so we used the generator until we ran out of gas (less than 1/4 of a tank.) Then we used a lantern we've had since we bought the motor home for the first time.
The only record I can find for the battery is Oct 2003; it's just a group 24 from Wal-Mart.
Anyway, I've heard our model referred to entry level. It's not fancy, but has everything we want and it's reliable.
