to save the cost of an item, just use a sharp box cutter, knife, razor blade.

I just use my pocket knife when wire stripping.Course I've been doing that for 45+ yrs50A power cord......wire should be #6

I would NOT cut the power cord. I would buy a short 3 ft or whatever length of the appropriate wire to tie in the SP and leave the cord the original length.bumpy

Are they making strippers for #6 wires?I have universal stripper that catches and strip the wire in single action, but #6 will not fit in it. I think #10 is max.Go back to knife.
